So I immediately took that life lesson and turned it into an article, a blog post as well as a video. Then apparently I added it to my viral ebooks as well…

All in one hour, my work was done that day!! In fact, I should pay that poor woman for helping me. But pride would get in her way of taking the money as a real compensation for value she provided to me, because her mindset about money is all wrong.

One of the most lucrative endeavors I do is contributing to the needs of others without monetary gain. We all, as people, have this need.

Tony Robbins, as well as psychiatrists, believes one of the basic needs of people is to feel connected and loved.

After physiological and safety needs are fulfilled, the third layer of human needs is social. This involves emotionally-based relationships in general, such as: friendship, sexual intimacy, having a supportive and communicative family.

We humans generally need to feel belonging and acceptance, whether it comes from a large social group (clubs, office culture, religious groups, professional organizations, sports teams, gangs) or small social connections (family members, intimate partners, mentors, close colleagues, confidants). They need to love and be loved (sexually and non-sexually) by others. In the absence of these elements, many people become susceptible to loneliness, social anxiety, and depression.

Your myspace profile and list of friends is a great way to contribute to the needs of the online community.The sense of being connected is important as you can see, and that is where myspace comes into play. Not only can you be connected to people all over the world, you can also have several close connections with people from several online communities as well. People you know and trust from your online meeting, people that you can tell your inner most secrets to. People that get to know you and support your decisions, and support you when you are down, they encourage you on to successful endeavors.

Imagine what it would feel like if you signed into your account today and your whole friends list was gone, all your comments were gone, everything except your layout and profile information. Even your emails, gone. What would that be like for you?The feeling of not being connected or the feeling of “being alone” is overwhelming and damaging to mental health.

One of the great ways to getting free targeted traffic involves what I am doing right now.  If you use article marketing the correct way, then your articles will get exposure across the web.  If people like you article, then they will likely go to your website to see what you have to offer.  Here is a warning:  When I first got introduced to article marketing, I was planning on writing and submitting about 10 articles per week.  This is a very bad idea.  Since many of the article directory sites actually read your articles before accepting them, if they see that you are trying to “flood” the market with your articles then they will assume that you are not submitting your best work every week.  It is best to only submit a couple of articles per week, gain the trust of the article directory sites, and then your best work will likely be shared on a number of respected websites.

One of the major ways that people implement in order to get free traffic to their websites is by using multiple SEO tricks, many of which I have never heard of.  I have the privilege of knowing a few people that own website management firms.  I told them that from what I understood, the best and easiest way to get free traffic through the search engines was to simply have a theme for each page, submit a sitemap to search engines like Yahoo and Google, and then create great content so that people will naturally link to your website.  They pretty much agreed with me and said that a lot of time when people focus on the many “SEO tricks” that are out there, they are actually putting their website at risk of being completely rejected by the search engines. 

Creating a “theme” for each website page allows the search engines to know and rank the type of content that you have provided for each page.  Even though meta tags aren’t used by search engines to rank websites anymore, they are still used in order to see what type of content is on your webpage.  So if you have meta tags related to the topic of “internet marketing for beginners,”  then you would want to make sure that your page(s) were directly teaching internet marketing tactics for beginners.

Creating a sitemap for a search engine like Google is rather easy.  Providing Google with a sitemap allows Google to be able to easily spider all of the pages on your website.  It also allows you to tell Google how often there are updates to your website so that you can have your content spidered more often.  This is especially helpful if you have a blog on you website.  If each day you post a new blog, you are going to want your page spidered and ranked asap.  If you don’t provide Google with a site map, then your website pages will eventually get spidered by Google, but it could take months, and your website may not get spidered as often as you want to.  On one of my websites, I was only getting my home page spidered by Google.  Within about a week after I submitted my sitemap, I started to get a number of my website pages spidered and ranked, and then after about 1 month, my website started to get spidered a couple times a week because I am constantly adding to my blog.  As a result, my search engine rankings for my blog and website are really high for a website that has only be around for 6 months!  If you start to get your websites spidered like mine, and if you theme each of your pages, then you will start to get lots of free traffic through the search engines.  Also, if you are providing great content on your website, people will start to naturally link to your website, which will provide you even more free website traffic. 

I’m not sure where he got this idea, but it’s great. It costs you nothing but 15 minutes per day. It’s best done right when you wake up.

Here’s what you need: a piece of paper (notepad on your computer is fine, too) and a pen.

Here’s what you do: You make 2 lists. The first list is 10 things that you are grateful for…you may have to start with being grateful for having a roof over your head, your family, etc. The 2^nd list is 10 outcomes you’re attracting. The more specific, the better. Is it $5K per month in your internet business? A new car? Pay off your credit cad bills?

Okay, now ANYONE can make a couple of lists like this, so your assignment is NOT over. It’s not that easy.

Here’s where it gets REALLY effective:

When you write down the 10 things you’re grateful for, on each item on the list, you must actually pause and FEEL the emotion of gratefulness and visualize it. This is the key.

Also, when you’re writing the 2^nd list you must VISUALIZE the outcome that you would like to see. In fact, that’s one of the major secrets to the success of athletes—champion quarterbacks, when asked how it felt to put on the superbowl ring, they tell people that they’ve put on that ring in their minds several times per day since they were kids. The power of visualization is huge.

Try it for 30 days and I guarantee your business (and lots of other areas of your life!!) with be improved in a major way.

 This also makes a great “slump breaker” !! I dare you to do it.

Don’t forget that if you’re not building an email list, you’re leaving lots of money on the table.

You can also make an initial statement of how you are building a team and looking for members, if your purpose is to recruit for a sales team of some kind, real estate, insurance, or even a network marketing opportunity.

 Briefly outline what it is that you are looking for in your team and the benefits of being on a team like the one you are building.

Again, people who are in tune with your goals and your mission for your team will want to be a part of it, and the others will just move on to the next piece of content, or maybe keep you in mind to mention to someone they might know who is like you, or would like to be a member on a team like yours.

You are almost becoming an information broker, except at this early stage of building  your team, you are not selling your information just yet.

The value of the information you offer is not easy to put a price on. However, the quickest way to know if your information is valuable is to take notice of how many people are getting and using your information, and is it filling a need, want or desire 10 times more than the reader thought it would.

If the information you are offering actually worth reading? Is it specialized information, or is it something anyone with a net connection can find in a matter of a couple minutes while searching online?

Make sure your information is valuable. Would you pay for it if it you did not write it?
